Recently, Jonker & Schut has installed special shuttle racking at their facility.
The major advantage of shuttle racking is that storage capacity is doubled in this situation, and for specific parties, this method of storage is much more efficient.
The principle is simple: the reach truck driver has a remote control with which he gives the shuttle the command to put pallets in the rack or take them out. The shuttle always comes out at the front of the channel so that the pallet can be easily placed on it.
